I have a passion for textiles - for touching them, for collecting them, for manipulating and combining them. Currently the focus of that passion is a textile format known as a studio art quilt. The imagery in the quilts reflects my fascination with human bodies in terms of their construction, form and function. Other design inspirations include architectural details and geometric shapes, grids and patterns.

My quilts are a combination of fibers including silk, rayon, cotton, and blends of those fibers. They are almost exclusively machine-pieced and always machine quilted and embroidered. My background as an industrial designer and also as a fashion designer gives me a unique skill set which influences the design, materials and fabrication processes.
